The renowned publisher has secured Ben Brinkman from Respawn Entertainment to oversee the development team at 31st Union, which is currently working on the forthcoming over-the-shoulder action-packed title known as Project Ethos.
The new appointee assumes the role of studio head at the development studio following the dismissal of former leader Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to the game's underwhelming early showing last autumn.
Recently, 2K president a key figure informed staff about this organizational change through an official communication, which stressed that early feedback sessions had shown the requirement for a clearer vision.
Ismailer noted that the team is now reimagining Project Ethos with a refreshed approach, aiming to better meet player expectations.
This announcement echoes a similar action taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they brought on an industry veteran from Blizzard to work on the beloved franchise studio Cloud Chamber.
