Australian law enforcement have ended the operation for a four-year-old child who has been disappeared in the outback for approximately twenty-one days, after additional efforts proved unsuccessful to find any evidence of the boy.

The young boy was observed engaging around his family property on a secluded farmland in the vicinity of Yunta, about a significant distance from Adelaide, on September 27th.

His grandmother left him alone for about thirty minutes before checking on him, only to discover the youngster gone, prompting one of the biggest land and air missions in the region's records.

Present Situation

Authorities - who do not believe wrongdoing - say they will persist investigating, but that the situation has become a "search for recovery".

Last week, authorities temporarily wound down the operation, only to recommence it on Tuesday alongside eighty Australian Defense Force personnel.

"Commissioner the commissioner said police were scanning a wider region based on revised analyses from survivability and operation specialists, rather than any new information."

On Friday, officials confirmed that the new search had not uncovered any evidence of Gus.
